Support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Today!

I’m a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student Visionaries of the Year program, where we raise funds for blood cancer research and patient care. LLS is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for blood cancers and improving quality of life for patients and their families. They have invested over 1.6 billion dollars into research, and their mission is to improve personalized medicine and immunotherapy for those impacted by blood cancer. LLS is the largest funding group for blood cancer research worldwide, and they have tens of thousands of volunteers just like us everywhere who help to support their mission and cause. They have funded over two hundred research grants that have worked to produce over seventy percent of the available blood cancer treatment options that are currently available and FDA approved, as well providing more than two hundred million dollars into financial aid for blood cancer patients.

Here at Warde, we have already raised over $1200 dollars toward the cause and are working towards a grand total goal of $10,000. Our team is composed of several Warde students and headed by our leaders Shruthika Gopinath and Sadia Khanam.
