Because Warde does not have the resources to keep the heat and air conditioning of the entire school at relative equilibrium, different areas end up with different levels of heat. Instead of fixing this issue, various staff members of Fairfield Warde High School take turns spinning a wheel to select the temperature of a particular room or area.
